How to receive a domestic or international wire transfer
In order to receive a wire transfer, you will need to provide the sender with LMCU’s details, as well as your own personal account details.

Notify your sender
To avoid delays or potential returns, we'll need their name & complete physical address (cannot be a PO Box) for the sender for both domestic and international wires.

Charge for receiving a domestic wire transfer: $10 per wire.
Charge for receiving an international wire transfer: $15 per wire.
How to send a domestic or international wire transfer
In order to send a wire transfer, you will need to provide us with details about the recipient and their financial institution. A questionnaire and fee is also required.
Call or visit us
Face-to-face wire transfers at a branch are easiest, or call (800) 242-9790 Ext. 9950.
Provide recipient's details
We'll need their name & complete physical address (cannot be a PO Box), account number, and their bank’s routing number/address.
Complete questionnaire
Before sending a wire, you must complete a questionnaire to help protect you from wire fraud.
Pay the wire fee
Charge for sending a domestic wire transfer: $25 per wire.
Charge for sending an international wire transfer: $50 per wire.
Wire transfer FAQs
In addition to the above details about your payment’s recipient, you will also need to:
- Provide your own address (P.O. boxes are not accepted for sending or receiving wires)
- Present ID confirming your identity
- Sign a one-time “Wire Transfer Agreement” if it’s your first wire
- Complete our wire transfer questionnaire to help protect your from wire fraud
- Pay $25 for a domestic wire and $50 for an international wire
Wires are typically processed by the end of the business day, if wired before the daily deadline (4:30 p.m. for domestic wires, 2:00 p.m. for international wires).
However, internationally wired funds may take up to a month before they are available for use.
We do not allow members to wire money to or from P.O. box addresses.
